Local Khateeb, lecturer, and mentor – Fares has been apart of growing his community for the last decade. Studying under various scholars, Fares has learned how to guide groups through the beautiful path of Umrah, and share the knowledge and experience he has learned. Motivating and captivating his audience through his speeches and lectures.
Also a student of BJJ, Fares has been training since December 2018 under Nonso Ebede. Competing and placing multiple times in his division, a true addict to the sport of jiu jitsu.

Kayed is a devoted student of Islamic knowledge in Houston, Texas, actively engaging with the local community. He embraces Islam deeply, constantly seeking to expand his understanding of its teachings. Kayed finds unity and solace in prayer, reflection, and brotherhood with fellow believers.
Apart from his spiritual pursuits, Kayed is a strong advocate for a healthy lifestyle. He has a lifelong passion for sports, particularly Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). Under the guidance of Nonso Ebede from Haven Academy since 2021, BJJ not only boosts his physical strength but also instills discipline and resilience.

- While the program is designed primarily for men ages 18+, families with children are welcome to join, although not every member may benefit fully from the seminars, they can still find value in the religious aspects of the program.
- We will be glad to have you! We can set you up in a Quad, Triple or Double room, depending on occupancy wanted, and we will room you with same age/location brothers, Coming alone will be a great experience
- Considering the pre-booking of hotel and transportation tickets, all deposits and payments are non refundable and seen as commitments that align with our trip’s theme of commitment and disciplined decision-making.
- We are accommodating a group of 40 people for our inaugural trip.
- More information on daily activities and what to do and not to do, and items needed will be discussed together, but items needed are: Thobes – lots of them, Workout clothes (awrah must be covered), small medicines if needed.
- In the event of an emergency during the trip, the organizers have a predefined plan in place to address any unforeseen situations. Additionally, the Visa provided for the trip includes health insurance coverage if it becomes necessary. May Allah protect us.
